US Counterfeit Coins Directly From the US Mint.         Friday, October 05, 2007

Well, not really, but the local police and banks in Macomb thought so. They even turned the case over to the Secret Service because they were so sure these were counterfeit coins. Amazing these people protect you and handle your money.

Tom Noe, a coin dealer in Ohio, was involved in a scandal involving a $50 million state investment in rare coins. Attorneys say Noe used a portion of the investment for his own benefit, including buying a house in Florida. A jury agreed.

Coins Easily Swapped Out of ANACS Slabs (With Photos)         Monday, November 13, 2006

I told all of you that I had a 1881-S MS-64DMPL in a new ANACS slab coming and when it got here I would crack the coin out and replace it with another coin and take pictures to prove it, well here they are, as you can see there is no evidence of tampering with the slab, and as you can also see, that sure isn't a Morgan in there anymore....
